In AP Seminar, students investigate real-world issues by analyzing diverse perspectives, synthesizing information, and developing their own arguments through research and effective communication. This involves both individual and team work, focusing on written essays, oral presentations, and visual aids. The course emphasizes skills like critical reading, research, argumentation, and collaboration. | | AP Seminar students reviewing notes for presentation. | |

| FAMILIES AND YOUTH INNOVATIONS PLUS (FYI+)CHS Juniors got the opportunity to collaborate with the Families and Youth Innovations Plus organization to codesign a Youth Crisis Response Model that reflects student real life experiences and solutions. FYI+ representatives focused their presentation on the following 3 key elements: 1) Who should be the first point of support during a crisis? 2) How should responders show up for youth in crisis? 3) What spaces should be available for youth to feel safe and supported? | | COMPLETE YOUR FAFSA- (Financial Aid Application) Don’t slack in the classroom.
