Members of Gadsden ISD’s Language, Equity, and Cultural Arts Department department proudly attended and presented at the La Cosecha Dual Language Conference, one of the largest national gatherings dedicated to dual language, bilingual education, and heritage language programs.

Our team showcased “The Journey of Dual Language in Gadsden ISD,” highlighting our district’s commitment to bilingualism, biliteracy, and culturally responsive education. Their presentation shared the growth of our programs, successful practices, and the powerful impact dual language education continues to have on our students, families, and community.

La Cosecha brings together thousands of educators, parents, researchers, and supporters of dual language, two-way immersion, developmental bilingual, and heritage language programs from across the country. We are proud that Gadsden ISD was able to contribute to this national conversation and represent the important work happening in our schools.
